Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the people of this community who donated 2,945 pounds of food and $200 to our local food shelf during the Stamp Out Hunger campaign. Thank you to the 20-some local U.S. Postal Service employees who distributed cards and bags and picked up the food. A giant thank you also goes out to Park Rapids Boy Scout Troop 58 who spent their day weighing and sorting food. Also thank you to Hugo's and Coborn's for their contributions and a thanks for the media coverage we received.
