After two years of events being canceled or dramatically scaled back due to the pandemic, Minnesota tourism officials are declaring business as usual for the summer of 2022, as several of the state’s big gatherings celebrating anniversaries of note.
A pancake feed, Maple Leaf Hunt, Saps Running 5K, horse-drawn wagon rides and more are scheduled throughout the day, and local businesses will be offering a variety of discounts and specials, including maple-flavored treats, milkshakes and whiskey.

From Nov. 27 through Dec. 23, “A Magical Medora Christmas” brings a family-friendly holiday show that’s “full of spirit, humor and expertly performed music that audiences have grown to expect from Medora,” officials from the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation said in a news release.
Like last year, all Thanksgiving meals will be either delivered or curbside pick-up on Thanksgiving Day. There will be no dining at Riverside United Methodist Church (RUMC).
