The owner of the restored, 1972 Chevrolet pickup speculated that a malfunctioning fuel injection system may have caused the vehicle to run "wide open" without input from the gas pedal.
Two vehicles collided Monday afternoon, Nov. 7, on State Hwy. 34, just west of Nevis by Echo Ridge Drive, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
An Appleton, Minnesota, man who was injured Oct. 18 in a collision at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 4 and Minnesota Highway 19 in Fairfax succumbed to his injuries Nov. 4.

Nathan Thompson, 22, of Eagan was arrested Oct. 21 after a single-vehicle accident involving a pickup, boat and trailer.
The 10-year-old boy was pronounced dead Oct. 20 in Toad Lake Township after life-saving efforts.
The accidental shooting occurred at 11:43 a.m. at the Twin Cities Corn Maze in Brooklyn Park.
