Ellery Overmyer, a Park Rapids Area High School senior, has submitted her painting of a redhead (Aythya americana) to the Junior Duck Stamp Art Contest. According to the Audubon Society, the total population of Redheads is “evidently far below original levels, a sharper decline than for most ducks.
