Perham hit five 3-pointers in the first half to spark a 51-45 victory over the Menahga girls basketball team Monday night at Perham.
Jadyn Benedict hit three of those 3-pointers and scored 11 points while Janie Wunderlich finished with 19 points inside as the Yellowjackets used a 35-24 halftime lead to improve to 16-5.
Menahga finished 9-for-26 on 3-pointers with Alyssa Peterson hitting four of them and finishing with 16 points. Cierra Ahlf added 13 points, five rebounds and five assists while Megan Hendrickson hauled down nine rebounds. Aimee Lake chipped in seven assists and three steals.
The Braves, who were coming off a 58-36 Park Region Conference win over Sebeka on Feb. 9, fell to 18-5 on the season.
