Wrestlers win two more dual meets

     Twelve pins and eight forfeits led the Park Rapids wrestling team to a pair of dual victories Friday night at Oklee.

     Six pins and four forfeits led the Panthers to a 63-18 win over Prairie Valley while six pins and four forfeits led the Panthers to a 60-18 victory over Red Lake County Central.

     Ashton Clark’s pin at 106 pounds, Ben Baumgartner’s pin at 138, Logan Johnson’s pin at 152, Justin Dravis’ pin at 160, Zach Tretbar’s pin at 182 and Jacob Bittmann’s pin at 220 led the way against Prairie Valley. Zach Nelson added a 7-0 minor decision at 170 while Toby Ritter at 120, Jared Sunram at 126, Dawson Roth at 132 and Cody Dravis at 145 won by forfeit.

     In the win over RLCC, Clark at 106, Landen Burlingame at 113, Sunram at 126, Justin Dravis at 152, Zach Hocking at 182 and Chris Baxter at 285 recorded pins while Baumgartner at 138, Logan Johnson at 145, Tretbar at 170, Duane Johnson at 195 and Bittmann at 220 received forfeits.

     The two wins lifted the Panthers’ record to 14-2 in dual meets this season.
