Eleven pins and eight forfeits helped the Park Rapids wrestling team end the regular season with a pair of easy wins Thursday night at the Century School gym.
The Panthers used six pins to defeat Fosston/Bagley 52-24 in the first match and used five pins and seven forfeits to defeat Mahnomen-Waubun 72-10 in the final match. Fosston/Bagley defeated Mahnomen-Waubun 47-21 in the other match.
In the win over Fosston/Bagley, the Panthers trailed 18-13 before rallying for the win.
Ashton Clark's third-period pin at 113 pounds, Landen Burlingame's 5-3 overtime decision at 126 and Nolan Booge's 8-0 major decision at 132 led Park Rapids in the early going. Clark held a 1-0 lead before recording a pin at the 4:57 mark, Burlingame used an escape and takedown in the third period to build a 3-1 lead before prevailing with a takedown in overtime, and Booge used a first-period takedown, second-period nearfall, and third-period escape and takedown to spark his win.
Eli Bessman's pin in 1:17 at 145, Jared Sunram's pin in 1:49 at 152, Justin Dravis' pin in 38 seconds at 160, Cody Dravis' pin in 1:00 at 170 and Jack Hensel's 4-0 minor decision at 182 gave the Panthers a 40-18 advantage. A reversal and nearfall in the third period gave Hensel the win.

Jacob Bittmann's pin in 33 seconds at 220 and Logan Veo's forfeit win at 285 closed out the scoring.
Park Rapids built a 30-10 lead against Mahnomen-Waubun before ending the match with six forfeits and a pin.
Clark's forfeit win at 113, Kaden Safratowich's pin in 53 seconds at 120, Burlingame's pin in 1:59 at 126, Booge's pin in 32 seconds at 132 and Joe Klein's pin in 3:23 at 138 gave the Panthers the early lead. Klein used three takedowns and a nearfall in building an 11-1 lead before recording the pin.
Forfeit wins by Sunram at 152, Justin Dravis at 160, Cody Dravis at 170, Zach Nelson at 182, Hensel at 195 and Bittmann at 220 and Veo's pin in 26 seconds at 285 capped off the win.
The Panthers, who are rated No. 7 in this week's state Class A poll, end the regular season with a 12-3 record in dual meets. Fosston/Bagley is now 12-8 while Mahnomen-Waubun fell to 1-13.
Park Rapids will enter the Section 8A team tournament Saturday at Thief River Falls.
