Gavin Becker rushed three times for 105 yards and two touchdowns in leading the Nevis football team to a 44-6 Great Northern Conference 9-man victory over Northland Remer Friday night.
Austin Becker’s 16-yard TD run was followed by TD runs of 3 and 80 yards by Gavin Becker as the Tigers claimed a 24-0 lead after the first quarter. Kiefer Miller ran in a conversion and Gavin Hitchcock ran in two conversions.
Tucker Roehl’s 3-yard TD run and conversion, Hitchcock’s 9-yard TD run and Miller’s 15-yard TD run pushed the lead to 44-0 at the half.
Remer concluded the scoring on a 30-yard TD run in the fourth quarter.
Miller rushed nine times for 83 yards and Hitchcock added 55 yards on seven carries as the Tigers compiled 320 yards on 34 rushing attempts.

Courtland Chase and Ben Howze had five solo tackles each while Austin Becker and Chase had interceptions to lead the Tigers’ defense.
The win lifted Nevis to 5-1 on the season while Remer fell to 1-5.
