The Park Rapids-Menahga-Nevis-Walker-Hackensack-Akeley girls hockey team closed out the regular season with a pair of losses on the road.
Thief River Falls edged the Panthers 3-2 Thursday night at Thief River Falls in a Section 8A battle.
The Panthers closed out the regular season with a 6-2 loss at International Falls in a make-up game Saturday afternoon.
Park Rapids will carry a 10-14 overall record into the Section 8A tournament, which begins Thursday night.

Jordan Solheim's goal 5:21 into the third period proved to be the game-winner for Thief River Falls.
Abby Fischer gave the Panthers a 1-0 lead with a goal at the 10:44 mark of the first period.
Goals by Megan Bergland and Emily Bergland gave the Prowlers a 2-1 lead after the second period.
McKenna Brand tied the game at the 2:32 mark of the third period before Solheim scored the game-winner.
Park Rapids goalie Shania Johnson finished with 25 saves as Thief River Falls held a 28-16 edge in shots. The Prowlers improved to 6-3-1 in section games and 16-6-1 overall while the Panthers fell to 2-8 against section opponents.

Broncos top Panthers
Sydney Gordon's hat trick led International Falls past the Panthers in a game that was rescheduled from Jan. 14.
The Broncos took a 2-0 lead on Mackenzie Raboin's power-play goal and a goal by Bailey Bernard in the first period.
Goals by Amanda Hofius and Gordon gave the Broncos a 4-0 lead before Heather Brostrom set up Jessica Gapinski at the 13:29 mark. Gordon's second goal of the game gave International Falls a 5-1 lead entering the final period.
Brand and Brostrom set up Gapinski for her second goal of the game 6:45 into the third period before the Broncos sealed the win when Gordon completed her hat trick at the 11:12 mark.

Johnson made 35 saves for the Panthers. The win gave International Falls a 10-12-3 overall record.
