Nevis took advantage of six errors to defeat the Park Rapids baseball team 5-1 Tuesday at the Area High School field.

The host Panthers took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when Sam Coborn walked and scored on Cory Odland's double.

Dylan Stenberg retired 14 of the final 15 batters he faced, allowing only a lead-off single to Christian Ridlon in the seventh.

Nevis tied the game in the fifth when Anthony Becker walked and scored on a throwing error.

The Tigers took a 3-1 lead in the sixth on singles by Gerald Beckerleg and Anthony Becker and an error.

Nevis scored two insurance runs in the seventh on singles by Stenberg, Garrett Edelman and Becker.

Stenberg threw a four-hit complete game with two walks and six strikeouts. Stenberg also had two hits while Beau Daniels drew four walks and stole four bases, but didn't score.
