Zach Anderson threw for two scores and scored the winning touchdown in leading Nevis to a 28-22 9-man football victory at Northland Remer Friday night.
A safety and Anderson's 36-yard TD pass to Dylan Stenberg gave Nevis an 8-0 lead before Remer used touchdown runs of 70 and 60 yards to take a 14-8 lead. Stenberg's 29-yard TD run and Sean Howes' kick gave the Tigers a 15-14 lead after the first quarter.
Nevis carried a 22-14 lead into the half on Stenberg's 7-yard TD reception from Anderson and Howes' kick.
Remer tied the game at 22-22 on a 10-yard TD run in the fourth quarter before Anderson's 1-yard TD run gave Nevis the win.
Stenberg led the Tigers with six receptions for 97 yards and 10 carries for 89 yards. Mitch Rehkamp caught three passes for 80 yards and Anthony Becker had 51 yards on 14 carries. Anderson completed 13 of 21 passes for 219 yards as the Tigers compiled 365 yards in total offense.

Nick Halfmann was in on 20 tackles and Beau Daniels made 13 tackles as the Tigers improved to 2-2.
