Luke DeWulf scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds while Ty Warrington also scored 14 points and had five steals. Derek Lindow chipped in four rebounds and four steals and Eddie Kramer had three assists as Nevis improved to 6-3 on the season. Northland fell to 5-6.
"We got back into the win column after a couple of tough losses going into the holiday break," said Nevis head coach Scott Kramer. "The rust showed after a two-week break from game action and we didn't shoot the ball very well from the perimeter, but we were able to dominate the paint."
