Megan Norby and Riley Hanson had double-doubles as the Nevis girls basketball team defeated Northland and Cass Lake.
Norby's 26 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and five steals led the Tigers to a 61-46 win over Northland last Monday night while Hanson's 21 points, 19 rebounds, seven assists and six steals led the Tigers to a 66-35 win over Cass Lake last Tuesday night. Norby followed with 29 points in leading the Tigers to a 66-41 win over Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Friday night.
Those three wins lifted the Tigers' record to 11-9.
Tigers defeat Northland
The Tigers dominated the boards in defeating Northland.

Hanson hauled down 16 rebounds and Mattie Hjelseth had 11 rebounds as Nevis collected 52 rebounds.

Norby had 19 points and eight rebounds while Hjel-seth had nine rebounds. Hannah Bliss and Schuldt also scored in double figures with 10 points each.
