Volleyball: Nevis rolls to win over Laporte

The Tigers improve to 11-1 with a 25-10, 25-12, 25-11 Northland Conference victory.

LAPORTE – Nevis served 11 aces and had 38 kills in a 3-0 Northland Conference volleyball victory over Laporte on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

The Tigers had only one error on serve receive, seven service errors and 16 attack errors in the 25-10, 25-12, 25-11 win.

Kayli Bessler’s 15 kills and two service aces apiece by Allee Forbes, Marley Mitchell, Lyra Luebbert and Mya Stacey led the way. Stacey had 26 set assists while Allee Forbes (8) and Ava Forbes (7) combined for 15 digs as Nevis improved to 3-0 in the conference, 5-0 against Section 5A opponents and 11-1 overall.
