NEVIS – Eddie Kramer scored 27 points and Ty Warrington just missed a triple-double as the Nevis boys basketball team defeated Cherry 67-42 at the Tiger Arena on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
JohnPaul Benson had 15 points and six rebounds while Warrington finished with 8 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Tigers, who led 35-21 at the half. Devan Lindow hauled down five rebounds and joined Joe Houchin with two assists. Kramer, Warrington and Austin Ahrendt had two steals each as the Tigers improved to 12-2. Cherry fell to 8-2.
“We got off to a quick start and played our best defensive game of the year thus far. It was a total team effort on defense,” said Nevis head coach Scott Kramer. “It was a big win for us against a quality opponent.”
