Boys Basketball: Balanced scoring attack leads Park Rapids past Crosby-Ironton

Five players hit double figures in the Panthers' 85-70 Mid-State Conference victory.

CROSBY – Park Rapids used a balanced scoring attack to offset a 1-2 punch by Crosby-Ironton for an 85-70 Mid-State Conference victory on Feb. 24.

Logan Jackson (17), Noah Larson (15), Nick Michaelson (15), Noah Morris (14) and Parker Harmon (14) scored in double figures for Park Rapids. Michaelson had a double-double with 14 rebounds and blocked three shots while Jackson just missed a triple-double with eight assists and eight rebounds. Morris dished out six assists for the Panthers, who also defeated C-I 77-72 on Jan. 27

Carsen Turk (36) and Jordan Oehrlein (28) combined to score 64 points for the Rangers, who fell to 3-6 in the conference and 18-7 overall.

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton edged the Panthers 84-81 on Monday (Feb. 28) and Detroit Lakes defeated the Panthers 78-69 in a Mid-State Conference game on Tuesday (March 1). No statistics were available for those games.
