Pirates win eight early matches to pin Panthers

The Pirates opened the dual with six pins and two forfeit wins. Ashton Clark rolled to a 15-0 technical fall win at 132 pounds for Park Rapids' lone victory in the early going.

Park Rapids ended the meet by winning the final five matches. Kaden Safratowich received a forfeit at 170, Cody Dravis posted a first-period pin at 182, Jack Hensel received a forfeit at 195, Joe Stachowski received a forfeit at 220 and Kian Scott recorded a first-period pin at 285.

The win gave Crookston a 4-2 record in dual meets while the Panthers fell to 1-4.
