Nolan Booge, Ben Baumgartner and Justin Dravis picked up wins in the Park Rapids wrestling team’s 61-14 loss to Perham Tuesday night at the Area High School gym.
Perham, which is rated No. 6 in this week’s state Class AA poll, used seven pins and two forfeits to improve to 9-0 in dual meets this season.
After Perham jumped out to a 25-0 lead, Booge recorded a pin at the 3:54 mark in the 138-pound match. Baumgartner followed with a 14-6 major decision at 145 and Dravis posted a 10-0 major decision at 160 as the Panthers trailed 31-14.
Perham closed out the dual with five pins in dropping the Panthers to 6-2 in dual meets.
Dravis is rated No. 5 at 152 pounds in this week’s state Class A poll. The Yellowjackets have three wrestlers rated in this week’s state Class AA poll: Ben Nelson (No. 5 at 120), Chase Curtis (No. 7 at 126) and William Parks (No. 7 at 195).
