Park Rapids Post 212 will host the District 6 DII American Legion baseball tournament beginning Thursday.
The tournament begins Thursday at 11 a.m. with Park Rapids playing Foley and Cross Lake playing Paynesville. At 1:30 p.m., Walker plays Albany and Menahga-Sebeka plays Sauk Centre.
The second round will be played at 4 and 6 p.m. Thursday with Friday’s games being played at 1:30 and 4 p.m. The double-elimination tournament continues Saturday with games at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. A deciding game, if necessary, will be played Sunday at 11 a.m.
Admission is $7 for adults and $3 for students. Concessions will be sold.
The tournament champion advances to the state tournament at Morris July 30-Aug. 2.
