Committing 18 errors, allowing 25 walks and hitting five batters cost the Park Rapids baseball team three losses in four Mid-State Conference games.
After Park Rapids scored four times in the top of the seventh to take an 11-10 lead, Wadena-Deer Creek scored twice in the bottom of the inning to rally for a 12-11 victory in the first game of a conference doubleheader last Thursday at Wadena.
The Panthers salvaged a split by scoring five times in the seventh in the second game and holding off a W-DC rally for an 8-7 win.
At Detroit Lakes Tuesday, the Lakers capitalized on five Park Rapids errors and eight walks for a 10-3 win in the opener.
In the second game, the Lakers used six Park Rapids errors to complete the sweep with a 10-4 win.

Park Rapids is now 2-6 in conference play and 3-6 overall. W-DC is 2-2 in the conference and 3-4 overall while Detroit Lakes improved to 5-1 in the conference and 6-1 overall.
Panthers, Wolverines split
Both games at Wadena saw the momentum switch in every inning as the two conference rivals settled for a split.
In the first game, the Panthers trailed 6-1 before scoring three times in the fifth and sixth innings and four times in the seventh to take the lead.
Kyle Goplerud's RBI double was the key hit in the fifth, Danny Pike's two-run single was the key hit in the sixth, and three walks and two errors led to the four runs in the seventh.
Three singles and an error allowed the Wolverines to score the winning runs in the bottom of the seventh.
Kyle Goplerud went 2 for 4 and scored three times, Chris Goplerud went 2 for 4 with two RBI, and Pike went 3 for 5 with three RBI to lead the Panthers' nine-hit attack. Dustin Martine took the loss in relief.
In the second game, a triple play in the fifth and a five-run seventh inning gave the Panthers the split.

Three errors, a double by Levi Erickson, and singles by Chris Goplerud and Pike sparked the game-winning rally in the seventh.
W-DC scored twice in the bottom of the seventh before Erickson recorded his sixth strikeout to end the rally and cap a complete-game effort.
In addition to earning the win, Erickson went 2 for 4 with two RBI and Pike went 2 for 4 with two runs scored to pace the Panthers' eight-hit attack.
Lakers sweep Panthers
The Lakers took advantage of eight walks in the first game and 10 hits in the second game to spark the sweep.
Five walks led to three Detroit Lakes runs in the first while four hits and error led to six runs in the fourth in the opener.
Kyle Goplerud went 2 for 3 while Odland took the loss.
In the second game, six errors led to seven unearned runs as the Lakers completed the sweep.

The Panthers scored all their runs in the fifth on a double by Christian Ridlon, an RBI single by Kyle Goplerud and a two-run double by Odland.
Kyle Goplerud went 2 for 4, Odland went 3 for 4 and Ridlon went 2 for 3 as the Panthers pounded out 11 hits. Erickson took the loss in a complete-game effort.
