The Laporte Area Take a Kid Fishing has openings for kids 10-15 years age to have an afternoon of fishing at no cost Saturday, June 11.
All equipment will be supplied. Call Dwight Powell at 224-3367 or Judy Honer at 224-2732.
An application must be completed before the event so kids and adult guides can be matched.
The kids will fish Garfield Lake near Laporte from noon to 5 p.m. June 11, with a fish fry supper in the evening.
