Nevis baseball team remains undefeated in league play

Derek Lindow pitches, hits the Tigers to a 5-4 win over Blackduck.

Derek Lindow’s two-run single with two outs in the seventh inning rallied the Nevis baseball team to a 5-4 win over Blackduck in a Northland Conference game on Monday, May 3.

Derek Lindow also picked up the win, allowing four runs (two earned) on two hits and three walks with 14 strikeouts over the first six innings. Tyler Lindow pitched the seventh for the save.

Ian Ahrendt went 2 for 3 and scored a run to pace Nevis’ five-hit attack while Tyler Lindow scored three times. Dawson McGee went 1 for 3 and scored the other run as Nevis improved to 6-0 in the conference and 7-1 overall. Blackduck fell to 2-1 in conference play and 2-3 overall.
