Moses, Lewis top field in 5 Alarm 5K

Keegan Moses and Shelby Lewis were the top male and female finishers in the 5th annual Park Rapids Fire Department 5 Alarm 5K.

Moses led the 27-runner field with a winning time of 20:10 while Lewis was the top female runner with a time of 22:27. Steve Safratowich was the top finisher among firefighters competing in the 5K run/walk with a time of 23:30.

Following Moses and Lewis were Kristen Mitteness (22:52), Safratowich, Gabrielle Miller (23:35), David Mitteness (23:53), Kristine Miller (25:54), Lana Snyder (26:58), Embry Deshayes (30:26) and Maya Deshayes (33:53).

The race, which started and ended by the fire hall, is a fundraiser for the Park Rapids Fire Department.
