Bailey Moore stopped 24 shots for her second shutout of the season as the Park Rapids-Menahga-Nevis-Walker-Hackensack-Akeley girls hockey team defeated Wadena-Deer Creek/Long Prairie-Grey Eagle at Wadena Thursday night.
Ashley Thelen scored two goals, Alex Pederson tallied a goal and an assist, and Mady Vaudrin had two assists to lead the offense as the Panthers extended their winning streak to four games in a row.
After a scoreless first period, Thelen and Hannah Williams scored in the second period to give the Panthers a 2-0 lead. Vaudrin assisted on Thelen's goal.
Pederson and Vaudrin set up Thelen's second goal of the game at the 7:05 mark of the third period before Pederson scored the game's final goal 20 seconds later.
The win lifted Park Rapids to 5-7 on the season while the Blue Devils fell to 4-5.
