The Park Rapids chapter of the Minnesota Darkhouse and Angling Association recently gave $1,000 to scholarship winners.
Meagan Powers is going to the University of North Dakota and Jack Hensel will attend Alexandria Technical and Community College. Both are 2019 Park Rapids Area High School graduates. Both received $500 each.
The chapter has been granting scholarships for five years.
