Rilee Michaelson scored a career-high 25 points and Jaiden McCollum had a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds in leading the Park Rapids girls basketball team to a 94-70 win at Sebeka Tuesday night.
Macky Warne hit four 3-pointers and added 12 points as 10 players scored for the Panthers, who led 47-37 at the half. McCollum also had six steals and six assists while Michaelson had nine rebounds and six steals. Kendra Coborn dished out nine assists and pulled down six rebounds as Park Rapids improved to 5-6 on the season.
Madison Lake (19), Emily Huotari (14), Kenzie Nelson (12) and Megan Heino (10) hit double figures for the Trojans.
"The girls played well," said Park Rapids head coach Jeff Overmyer. "We played good defense and took good shots and they were falling. We kept our girls fresh and kept pushing. Sebeka isn't a bad team, but we just wore them out."
