Menahga girls defeat Henning in PRC debut

Tara Hendrickson and Alyssa Peterson scored 13 points apiece in leading the Menahga girls basketball team to a 61-35 win at Henning in the Park Region Conference opener for both teams Tuesday night (Dec. 4).

Cierra Ahlf also hit double figures with 10 points while Timbr Berttunen (9) and Annika Aho (8) combined for 17 points for the Braves, who led 38-13 at the half. Hendrickson and Aho grabbed eight rebounds each while Peterson and Ahlf dished out three assists apiece. Aho had six steals as Menahga forced 20 Henning turnovers.

Menahga improved to 3-0 while Henning fell to 0-3.
