After dropping a pair of league games to Sebeka, the Park Rapids American Legion baseball team rebounded for a win and a tie against Wadena Monday night.
Sebeka swept a league doubleheader at Park Rapids on June 20 by scores of 9-5 and 9-4.
In the first game, a walk to Sam Coborn and a single by Drew Bade set up a two-run double by Cory Odland as Park Rapids tied the game at 2-2 in the first.
Sebeka claimed a 6-2 lead before Coborn reached on an error and scored on another error in the third.
An error, a walk to Paul Prenevost and a single by Bade led to Park Rapids' final two runs in the seventh.

Sebeka scored four runs in the first, two runs in the second and three runs in the fifth in the second game to complete the sweep.
Coborn reached on an error and scored on Bade's single in the first, Cody Brumbaugh scored in the fourth, and Coborn and Prenevost scored in the sixth to account for Park Rapids' four runs.
Park Rapids rebounded from those losses to defeat Wadena 4-3 in a league game and tie Wadena 6-6.
In the fourth inning, Odland doubled, Chris Goplerud was hit by a pitch with two outs, Brad Eischens walked, Brumbaugh singled and Goplerud scored on a wild pitch to give Park Rapids a 2-1 lead.
Singles by Bade and Odland and a two-run double by Chris Goplerud gave Park Rapids a 4-1 lead in the fifth.
Wadena scored twice in the sixth, but Kyle Goplerud preserved the lead for the save. David Dirks started and earned the win as Park Rapids improved to 4-3 in league play.
In the second game, Wadena jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning before Park Rapids rallied for the tie.
A single by Cory Gartner, a walk to Eischens, singles by Prenevost, Rilee Johnson, Bade and Tyler McCollum, and a double by Kyle Goplerud led to four runs in the third.

A single by Eischens and a double by Prenevost produced another run in the fourth before Park Rapids tied it on a single by Kyle Goplerud and a double by Brumbaugh. The game was called because of darkness.
Park Rapids is now 6-7-1 overall.
The Legion hosts Walker at 5:30 Monday night in another league game.
