Late run gives Greenway 50-40 win over Nevis girls

Greenway closed the game with a 14-4 run to claim a 50-40 victory over the Nevis girls basketball team at Greenway on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

Nevis jumped out to an early 10-5 lead behind a layup and two inside baskets by Makenna Frazier and a jumper by Ava Isaacson. Greenway responded with an 8-0 run for a 13-10 edge before Isaacson scored off a rebound and Emily Funk converted a layup to give the Tigers a 15-14 lead.
