After shutting out Menahga in the first game, Sebeka had to mount a late rally to complete a Park Region Conference baseball doubleheader sweep on Thursday, April 18.
Ivan Anderson's single accounted for Menahga's only hit in the first game as Sebeka posted a 10-0 victory in five innings. The Trojans scored two runs in both the first and second innings before ending the game early via the 10-run rule by scoring three runs in both the fourth and fifth frames.
Nolan Haataja took the loss for the Braves, allowing seven runs on seven hits and two walks with four strikeouts over four innings. Only two of those runs were earned. Jack Pietila gave up three runs on two hits and two walks in the fifth.
In the second game, a five-run third inning gave Menahga a 5-1 lead before Sebeka tied the game by scoring once in the fourth and three times in the sixth before scoring six runs in the seventh to complete the sweep.
Corey Haataja's two-run home run sparked Menahga's five-run third inning. Tom Litzau and Anderson also drove in runs and scored during that frame. Lars Keranen and Brock Kako scored the other runs.

Anderson went 2 for 4 with a triple while Litzau, Keranen, Eddie Salmen and Kako had doubles as the Braves finished with nine hits. Keranen started and allowed four runs on six hits with two walks and eight strikeouts in five innings. Litzau took the loss, giving up seven runs on five hits and four walks with four strikeouts in 1 ⅔ innings. Charlie Hodge recorded the final out in the seventh. Six of Sebeka's runs were unearned.
Sebeka's pitchers combined for 23 strikeouts and no walks in the doubleheader as the Braves fell to 0-3 on the season.
