Gabie Johnson scored 21 points and pulled down seven rebounds in leading the Park Rapids girls basketball team to a 58-49 Mid-State Conference win over Crosby-Ironton last Friday night at Crosby.
Katie Klein added 14 points and four assists while Bria Wolff scored 10 points. Megan Grimes led the Panthers with nine rebounds while Hope Johnson had four steals.
The Panthers, who edged C-I 42-41 in overtime in the season opener, improved to 4-3 in the conference and 10-5 overall.
Jami Nelson (13) and Cyan Hale (10) hit double figures for the Rangers, who fell to 3-4 in the conference and 6-8 overall.
