Nevis’ Jade Rypkema and Park Rapids’ Hannah Morgan earned spots on the podium during the state Class A girls track and field meet at St. Michael-Albertville High School on Friday, June 18.
Rypkema finished sixth in the 1,600-meter run in 5:13.11 while Morgan placed seventh in the long jump with a distance of 17 feet, 1 inch to earn medals.
United North Central’s Gabby Hrdlicka placed 11th in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.19.
