A birdie on the first playoff hole gave Park Rapids' Cody Dravis the final all-conference spot as the Park Rapids boys golf team finished fifth at the Mid-State Conference tournament at The Vintage at Staples on Monday, May 13.
Dravis tied three other golfers at 78 for seventh place before winning a sudden-death playoff to earn all-conference honors. Tate Usher's 83, Alec Nordin's 106 and Isaiah Phillippi's 107 completed the Panthers' 374 team score.
Staples-Motley's Beck Erholtz carded a 5-under-par 67 to claim medalist honors. Detroit Lakes captured at least a share of the team title for the 26th year in a row by joining Crosby-Ironton with a 310. Staples-Motley was third in this seven-team field with a 328 while Pequot Lakes took fourth with a 340.
The other all-conference golfers were Crosby-Ironton's Cayden Turk (74) and Casey Finnerty (75), Detroit Lakes' Hunter Burnside (74), Staples-Motley's Finn Erholtz (77) and Aitkin's Sam Sadlowsky (77).
