Spencer Fritze took first in diving as the Park Rapids boys swimming and diving team placed fifth at Saturday's Section 5A True Team meet at Bemidji.
Fritze compiled 427.05 points to earn 32 points as the Panthers finished with 942 points in this meet where every finisher scores points.
Casimir Simonson, Fritze, Zach Behrens and Sam Eystad opened the meet by placing fifth in the 200-yard medley relay with a 1:49.37. Park Rapids scored 148 points in that event.
The Panthers added 54 points in the 200 freestyle as Matthew Benson took sixth in 1:59.04 and scored 43 points in the 200 individual medley as Behrens took 10th in 2:17.95.
In the 50 freestyle, Fritze finished fifth in 23.87 as the Panthers scored 73 points before adding 53 points in diving.

Behrens clocked a 1:00.53 in the 100 butterfly to help Park Rapids score 42 points in that event before the Panthers added 44 points in the 100 freestyle as Eystad's 56.97 for 15th place led the way. Matthew Benson's 5:25.39 for fourth place in the 500 freestyle helped add 88 points to the team score in that event.
Park Rapids scored 136 points in the 200 freestyle relay with Matthew Benson, Behrens, Simonson and Fritze clocking a 1:37.36 for third place.
Marcus Benson placed sixth in the 100 backstroke in 1:00.29 as the Panthers scored 84 points before Kaleb Carlson placed sixth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.32 to help Park Rapids add 57 points to the team score.
Matthew Benson, Zach Fritze, Marcus Benson and Eystad took fourth in the 400 freestyle in 3:42.26 as the Panthers ended the meet with 120 points.
Sartell-St. Stephen won the section title with 1,418 points while Alexandria took second in this eight-team meet with 1,281 points.
