Frazee relied on torrid perimeter shooting to eliminate the Park Rapids girls basketball team from the Section 8AA tournament.
During their regular-season meeting, Park Rapids led from the start en route to a 46-33 victory.
On Monday night at Frazee, the Hornets took the lead for good early in the first half and held on to advance to the quarterfinals in the south half of Section 8AA.
The No. 9-seeded Panthers used a layup by Olivia Vaadeland and a pair of 3-pointers by Alyssa Carlson to offset three outside jumpers by Ashley Bachmann to claim an 8-7 lead with 15:15 to play in the first half.
Bachmann hit another outside jumper to give Frazee a 9-8 advantage at the 14:53 mark. The Hornets would lead the rest of the game.

Three-pointers by Alexis Tappe and Kristi Smith pushed Frazee's lead to 21-10 at the 9:47 mark.
Park Rapids responded behind two layups by Vaadeland, a jumper by Hannah Wolff and a 3-pointer by Carlson to close the gap to 24-20 with 4:33 to play.
After Bachmann hit two more outside jumpers, a 3-pointer by Wolff and a jumper by Sophie Shogren pulled the Panthers to within 28-25 at the half.
The No. 8-seeded Hornets opened the second half with a 6-0 run to build a 34-25 cushion with 16:52 to play.
Park Rapids tried to battle back the rest of the game.
A layup by Vaadeland, a jumper by Shogren and a layup by Wolff pulled the Panthers to within 36-32 with 11:53 to go.
Tappe responded with a 3-pointer to spark an 8-1 run as Frazee claimed a 44-33 lead with 9:59 left.
Two free throws by Wolff, a 3-pointer by Carlson, a layup by Ashley Domino and a layup off a steal by Hailey Lundin closed the deficit to 48-43 with 2:08 showing.

The Panthers were forced to foul, but stayed in the game when Frazee missed seven free throws.
A three-pointer by Wolff with 15 seconds to go and a 3-pointer by Carson Lee Christenson with :06 showing kept the Panthers within 53-49 before Frazee hit two free throws to seal the win.
Tappe scored 24 points and Bachmann added 14 points to lead Frazee, which improved to 8-19 on the season despite missing 16 of 33 free throws.
Wolff and Carlson scored 14 points apiece while Vaadeland (9), Domino (6) and Shogren (5) combined for 20 more points as the Panthers ended the season with a 4-20 record.
