Park Rapids had five players receive Mid-State Conference fastpitch softball honors this spring.
Seniors Lexi Burlingame, Erika Jerger and Olivia Vaadeland received all-conference honors while sophomores Shania Johnson and Lauren Naeve received all-conference honorable mention honors.
Those five starters helped the Panthers finish third in the Mid-State standings with a 7-5 record.
Vaadeland played in all 12 conference games and batted .371 (13 for 35) with a double, a home run, seven runs and 10 RBI. Vaadeland also was the starting pitcher in 11 games, going 6-5 with a 5.71 ERA. In 61 1/3 innings, Vaadeland allowed 79 hits and 86 runs (50 earned runs) with 40 walks and 48 strikeouts. Vaadeland was an all-conference honorable mention player last season.
Burlingame started all 12 games at first base and batted .421 (16 for 38) with nine doubles, four stolen bases, one homer, 14 runs and 13 RBI.

Jerger was a starting outfielder in all 12 games and hit .444 (16 for 36) with five doubles, one triple, one home run, four stolen bases, 10 runs and seven RBI.
Johnson started 11 games in center field and batted .444 (12 for 27) with two doubles, two stolen bases, five runs and five RBI.
Naeve was the Panthers' starting catcher in all 12 conference games, hitting .375 (15 for 40) with a double, five stolen bases, 14 runs and eight RBI.
Pequot Lakes won the conference title with a 12-0 record while Detroit Lakes finished second at 8-4. Trailing the Panthers were Staples-Motley at 6-6, Wadena-Deer Creek at 5-7, Perham at 4-8 and Crosby-Ironton at 0-12.
