Arielle Pihlaja's 3-pointer forced a second overtime and Tarah Cleveland scored 8 points in the second overtime to lead the Menahga girls basketball team to a 71-64 Park Region Conference win over Sebeka last Friday night.
A free throw by Shannon Skoog with 33 seconds to play tied the game at 53-53 after regulation play and Pihlaja hit two 3-pointers as the game was tied at 60-60 after the first overtime. A 3-pointer and five free throws by Cleveland in the second overtime led the Braves to the win.
Cleveland finished with 25 points while Pihlaja added 21 points. Jenny Skoog hauled down 16 rebounds and Bradi Carlson had five assists as the Braves improved to 5-4 in the conference and 8-10 overall.
Sebeka fell to 6-3 in the conference and 10-9 overall.

Tappe reaches milestone for Frazee
Alexis Tappe became Frazee's all-time leading scorer in the Hornets' 64-49 win over the Braves last Thursday night.
Tappe had 23 points and 12 rebounds to move her career total to 1,560 points to surpass Courtney Kallis' previous record of 1,541 points. Kennady Barlund scored 13 points as Frazee improved to 15-3.
Cleveland scored 21 points and Pihlaja had 11 points to lead the Braves.
