Aaron Rudquist led a balanced offensive attack with 13 points as the Menahga boys basketball team opened the season with a 52-33 win at Frazee Friday night.
Rudquist also had nine rebounds and four assists while Luke Wurdock chipped in 12 points and five rebounds. Damon Howard also hit double figures with 10 points while Kirby Hrdlicka had six rebounds and four steals for the Braves, who won despite shooting only 26.7 percent from the field (16 for 60) and turning the ball over 18 times.
