The Menahga boys basketball team locked up third place in the Park Region Conference standings with a 75-68 win over New York Mills last Friday night.
Tanner Schwartz's 31 points, five assists and four steals led the Braves. Levi Schwartz posted a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds while Austin Rudquist had 10 points and seven rebounds. Stetson Burkman hauled down nine rebounds and Austen Schwartz had five assists as Menahga ended conference play with an 8-4 record.
New York Mills fell to 1-10 in the conference and 4-17 overall.

Browerville defeats Braves
Tanner Schwartz scored 27 points and pulled down eight rebounds in leading Menahga in a 64-41 loss to Browerville last Thursday night at Menahga.
Browerville, which is rated No. 6 in the latest state Class A poll, improved to 18-2.
