Alyssa Peterson's 30 points, seven steals and six assists powered the Menahga girls basketball team to a 78-51 Park Region Conference win over Wadena-Deer Creek at Wadena on Jan. 12.
Lindsay Hendrickson scored 17 points and Cierra Ahlf added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Braves, who led 46-18 at the half. Megan Hendrickson also had 10 rebounds while Ahlf contributed six assists and five steals as the Braves improved to 5-1 in the conference and 10-3 overall.
Katie Peterson's 14 points and Kennedy Gravelle's 11 points led W-DC, which fell to 1-5 in conference play and 3-10 overall.
