Menahga's Cierra Ahlf capped off her senior season by earning a spot on the state Class A All-Tournament Team.

Ahlf averaged 15.0 points and 9.0 rebounds as the Braves finished fourth in their second trip to the state Class A tournament. Ahlf shot 44.1 percent from the field (15 for 34) and 43.5 percent on 3-pointers (10 for 23) in scoring 45 points.

The senior guard posted a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds as Menahga opened the tournament with a 65-54 quarterfinal win over BOLD at Maturi Pavilion on Thursday (March 14). Ahlf made 7 of 12 shots (including 5 of 9 3-pointers) and 2 of 2 free throws while chipping in three steals and one assist in 26 minutes.

In a 47-43 loss to Goodhue in the semifinals Friday (March 15) at Williams Arena, Ahlf scored 12 points and had eight rebounds. Ahlf made 4 of 11 shots (including 3 of 7 3-pointers) and 1 of 2 free throws with two steals and one blocked shot in 36 minutes.

Ahlf also played all 36 minutes in the Braves' 60-52 loss to Heritage Christian Academy in the third-place game on Saturday (March 16) at Concordia-St. Paul. Ahlf hit 4 of 11 shots (including 2 of 7 3-pointers) and 2 of 2 free throws while adding seven rebounds and one assist.

Joining Ahlf on the Wells Fargo Class A All-Tournament Team were Minneota's Lizzy Gullingham (who averaged 13.0 points and 6.7 rebounds in the three tournament games), Abby Hennen (16.3 points, 9.7 rebounds) and Lydia Sussner (12.3 points, 11.3 rebounds); Goodhue's Joslyn Carlson (9.0 points, 5.7 rebounds), Lexie Lodermeier (11.0 points, 7.3 rebounds) and Kate Opsahl (7.3 points, 4.0 rebounds); Heritage Christian Academy's Kirstin Robbins (16.0 points, 6.3 rebounds) and Taylie Scott (16.7 points, 6.7 rebounds); and Mountain Iron-Buhl's Allie Negen (17.3 points, 5.7 rebounds).

Minneota defeated Goodhue 40-31 in the championship game while Mountain-Iron Buhl defeated Ada-Borup/Norman County West 53-45 for the consolation title.
