Blueberry Pines Golf Club hosted its Ladies Invitational on Monday, June 18. What a great day and event it turned out to be, with special thanks going to Ladies Night volunteers including Amy Andersen, Penny Voss and Connie Hammer. And extra special thanks going to Kim Rasmussen, Sandy Porter and Joan Redalen for transforming the dining room into a festive Mexican theme atmosphere. And wow, the over the top efforts by Sandy Porter helped to make this a super fantastic day! Thanks again gals!
In the First Flight, first place low gross went to Jolene Miller of Perham carding a 92. Second place gross went to Kim Rasmussen of Menahga scoring a 95. Third place gross went to Sue Fisher of Park Rapids also scoring a 95. First place low net went to Penny Turner of Park Rapids scoring a net 73. Second place net went to Maxine Moe of Grand Rapids carding a net 74. Third place net went to Peg Heeren of Dayton firing a net 74.
In the Second Flight, first place low gross and also winning the overall low gross award, was Joan Richardson of Grand Rapids scoring an 87. Second place Gross went to Rose Fagerstrom of Bemidji shooting a 94. First place low net went to Barb Thompson of Alexandria scoring a 74. Second place net went to Kathy Green of Walker.
In the Third Flight, first place gross went to Kay Ekberg of Walker firing a 102. Second place gross went to Penny Voss of Park Rapids scoring a 104. First place low net went to Sandy Porter of Park Rapids shooting a 72. Second place net went to Char Grafstrom of Walker carding a net 75.
In the Fourth Flight, first place low gross went to Helen Keezer of Park Rapids scoring a 106. Second place gross went to Doris Hanson Barnesville with a 109. First place low net and overall low net winner was Connie Pieper of Park Rapids scoring a net 68. Second place net went to Dianne Salmela of Park Rapids carding a 70. Third place net was Marilyn Horn of Park Rapids scoring a 71.
