Shep Davis threw a no-hitter and was backed by an 11-hit offensive attack as the Nevis baseball team shut out Kelliher-Northome 17-0 in five innings on Tuesday, April 30.

Davis struck out eight and didn't walk a batter as an error and a hit batter accounted for the Mustangs' only two baserunners. Nevis scored once in the first, four times in the second and twice in the fourth before a 10-run fifth inning ended this game early because of the 10-run rule.

Dan Mistic went 4 for 5 with three runs and two RBI and Davis went 2 for 3 with two RBI to lead the Tigers' offense. Both belted out doubles. Tyler Lindow (1 for 2, two runs), Wyatt Rech (1 for 3, one run, two RBI), Cain Mitchell (1 for 3, one run, one RBI), Derek Lindow (1 for 2, two runs, two RBI) and Kolby Hamblin (1 for 2, one run, one RBI) also contributed offensively. Reese Kline and Ian Ahrendt scored two runs each as the Tigers improved to 5-1.
