A balanced scoring attack led the Nevis girls basketball team to a 69-38 Northwoods Conference victory over Blackduck Tuesday night at the Tiger Arena.
Megan Norby scored 19 points and had seven rebounds, five steals and four assists while Mattie Hjelseth added 12 points and six rebounds for the Tigers, who led 39-18 at the half. Kate Dierkhising (9), Riley Hanson (9) and Hannah Bliss (8) combined for 26 more points with Hanson leading the Tigers with eight rebounds and seven steals.
The Tigers improved to 3-1 on the season while Blackduck fell to 1-3.

Tigers fall to Kelliher
Kelliher/Northome jumped out to a 34-15 halftime lead and forced 38 Nevis turnovers in the game en route to a 75-50 conference victory last Friday night.
Hjelseth scored 16 points and had eight rebounds and seven steals while Norby added 14 points for the Tigers. Hanson grabbed 12 rebounds for Nevis.
