It was a quick exit from the section playoffs for the Park Rapids, Menahga and Nevis girls basketball teams.
Park Rapids, the No. 6 seed in the North half, was eliminated from the Section 8AA playoffs with a 62-47 loss to No. 3 Crosby-Ironton Thursday night at Crosby.
Browerville, the No. 5 seed in the West half of Section 5A, upset No. 4 Menahga 45-34 in the first round of the playoffs Thursday night at Menahga.
Nevis, the No. 6 seed in the West half of Section 5A, was eliminated with a 70-42 loss to No. 3 Sebeka Thursday at Sebeka.
Bonsante leads C-I past Panthers

Chelsey Bonsante hit four 3-pointers and scored 20 points in leading Crosby-Ironton to a 62-47 win over the Panthers.
Bonsante scored 18 of her game-high total in the first half as the Rangers led 36-24 at the break. Katie Klein hit a pair of jumpers and a 3-pointer and Megan Grimes had three field goals for Park Rapids.
Meredith Silgen (11) and Shannon Lundgren (7) combined for 18 points in the second half for the Rangers. Gabie Johnson's three inside baskets, two jumpers apiece by Grimes, Charity Ridlon and Bria Wolff, and a 3-pointer by Megan Olson led the Panthers.
Silgen finished with 15 points and Lundgren added 14 points as C-I improved to 13-14 on the season.
Grimes had a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds as the Panthers ended the season with a 7-19 record. Ridlon (9), Klein (8) and Wolff (8) combined for 25 points. Ridlon hauled down nine rebounds, Grimes had three assists and Klein had three steals.

Browerville upsets Braves
Browerville led from start to finish in eliminating Menahga from the section Thursday nigh.
Browerville avenged a 60-49 loss to the Braves during the regular season by jumping out to a 19-6 lead en route to the victory.
A basket off a rebound by Quinn Kircher and two layups by Crystal Pearson gave Browerville a quick 6-0 lead.
Jenny Skoog's jumper at the 13:53 mark and two free throws by Tarah Cleveland at the 9:59 mark pulled the Braves to within 8-6.
Three inside baskets by Paige Callahan gave the Tigers a 19-6 advantage with 1:27 to play in the first half. Two free throws by Cleveland at the 1:15 mark and a jumper by Shelby Pihlaja before the buzzer made it 20-11 at the half. Pihlaja's jumper was Menahga's only field goal in the final 13:53 of the first half.
A layup by Shannon Skoog and two free throws and a 3-pointer by Cleveland cut the gap to 23-18 with 12:20 to play. After a 3-pointer by Browerville's MaKenna Hegseth, Cleveland hit a 3-pointer and was fouled for a 4-point play. Cleveland followed with a layup as the Braves trailed 29-24 with 6:01 to go.
Kale Knutson scored off a rebound and hit two free throws and Pearson scored inside as the Tigers built a 37-24 lead with 3:46 to go.

Cleveland and Bradi Carlson hit back-to-back 3-pointers as Menahga cut the gap to 37-30 with 3:06 remaining.
Browerville would seal the win with 11 trips to the free throw line. Despite making only 8 of 21 free throws down the stretch, the Tigers held Menahga scoreless until Jen Stifter hit two free throws with 13 seconds left and Hannah Allebach ended the game with a layup off a steal.
Pearson (12) and Callahan (11) scored in double figures for Browerville, which improved to 11-13 on the season.
Cleveland finished with 19 points as the Braves ended the season with an 11-14 record.

Megan Norby's 16 points and six rebounds led Nevis in the playoff loss to Sebeka.
Mattie Hjelseth led Nevis with three blocked shots, three steals and two assists.
Nevis ended the season with a 13-11 record while Sebeka improved to 13-13.
