The Park Rapids girls tennis team snapped a three-match losing streak with a decisive 7-0 Section 8A victory over Parkers Prairie at the Depot Courts on Tuesday, Sept. 24 in the final home meet of the season.

The Panthers lost only nine games in the seven matches in posting their first 7-0 win this fall.

Abby Morris defeated Ana Marquardt 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles; Rachael Herman defeated Hannah Samuelson 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles; Cassidy Bera blanked Sabrina Aldrich 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles; and Hannah Morgan defeated Dakota Moske 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.

Jada Renneberg and Mickey Clark posted a 6-2, 6-2 win over Megan Reigstad and Reghan Deboer at No. 1 doubles; Macy Goochey and Morgan Koppelman blanked Audrey Ruckheim and Aili Toyli 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles; and Emily Schulz and Natalie Harvey blanked Ashley Vogt and Elizabeth Vogt 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 doubles.

Park Rapids improved to 2-3 in matches against section opponents and 7-10 overall in dual meets.
