LETTER TO EDITOR: Cooperative effort

The City of Park Rapids, Park Rapids Area Schools and the Park Rapids Tennis Association once again joined labor efforts to repair and maintain the Depot Park tennis courts. The cracks in the asphalt surface require attention on a yearly basis.

The above noted public and private auspices have teamed up on labor and expenses over the past 15 years to keep the courts in playable condition.

This year, individuals worked a combined total of 105 person hours, and last year, three times that many.

Special thanks to Paul and Christine from the schools and Bob and Stephanie from the city.
