At the Nov. 12, 2019 work session, county commissioner Char Christenson led a discussion concerning the Hubbard County Coordinator and administrator forms of county government and how any contemplated change would be implemented.
Being that commissioners refuse to record their meetings, we the public have no idea as to what was presented and discussed.
Further discussion was to occur at the December work session, however, it was delayed until the Jan. 14 work session.
Hubbard County taxpayers should be very concerned about this discussion and should make every effort to attend any meetings where it is going to be discussed.
It is worthy to note – if commissioners would record their meetings – the public would not need to skip work to be informed.

Everyone is encouraged to contact their commissioner and make it clear that the public should be notified of any discussion concerning changing the county’s form of government. In addition, request that they vote immediately to start recording their meetings.
