I leave to others comments about the scarcity of sources and the flood of inaccurate information about the COVID-19 vaccine in the Enterprise article “Nurses speak out about vaccine mandate.”
I comment on the self-centeredness of an employee who complains to the newspaper about an employer mandate, especially when the mandate is within the employers’ specific area of knowledge and experience.
Does the nurse imagine that she enhances her employment profile by citing her efforts to wiggle around her employers’ reasonable employment requirement and her unwillingness to accept the best scientific thinking and recommendations in her field? Unlikely, I think.
I also comment on the newspaper’s willingness to indulge this complaining from a disgruntled employee; it’s hardly news, rather more like gossip.
