Mr. Allard in his "Liberal response to recent claims" completely misses the message and makes comments not related to the "Vote critical for future of country" letter.
Mr. Trump is not mentioned in the letter. Is he assuming Mr. Trump is the only conservative candidate?
Some republicans are just as guilty as some democrats in politics when it comes to looking out for themselves, as opposed to working for the good of the people. That is why the majority of the populous is so angry with the politicians and want a change.
Mr. Leshovsky’s message was for all voters to become "high information" individuals so they can vote for candidates who will provide the most responsible future for our country, our people and our future generations.
Mr. Allard picks a false premise that everyone should be made equal. He seems to indicate that liberals make everyone equal through social services and then alludes to the idea that conservatives try to make everyone equal by giving money to the wealthy through the free enterprise system. I believe he really struck out on that one. Where does he come up with the idea conservatives are trying to make everyone equal? Does he have any idea how the free enterprise system works.

The free enterprise system results in some people getting wealthy as a result of their endeavors. Consider lawyers and politicians, many are liberals and many are conservatives. Forbes lists 16 of the 20 wealthiest Americans as democrats. Yet Mr. Allard says conservative elitists believe they should acquire all the country’s wealth.
The entrepreneurs of this country use the free enterprise system to provide products people need or want. They also do research and development to make improvements or develop new products. People like Henry Ford and John D. Rockefeller helped us move from horse and buggy to cars and trucks. But, along with these men creating products desired by Americans came employment for millions. The better the employment level the better the wages.
So here we go again, we have Mr. Allard like other liberals bashing the wealthy who are responsible for most private sector jobs and lowest cost production of the things we need and want.
It’s about time the people voting in this country switch from being low information individuals to high information individuals as suggested in Mr. Leshovsky’s letter to the editor.
